Tacos free if home run hit

Taco Bell, the U.S. fast-food-chain that serves Mexican morsels, is promising a free, seasoned, beef crunchy taco to everyone in North America if either a Detroit Tiger or a St. Louis Cardinal hits a home run into the left-field or centre-field stands during tonight’s World Series Game Three.

Free tacos will only be available at Taco Bells in the U.S. and selected franchises in Canada between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 1.

In the past three World Series, there have been 23 home runs hit, of which eight (34.8 percent) were hit to left field.

Hey the MAVs gave free chalupas whenever they score 100+ points at any home game in the past.. so this isn’t any huge precedent or anything. More on the story and details here.
